Gamma only. That uranium ore is of no value. Apparently the K40 in banana is gamma rays but I doubt that will get enough bunches to measure.
Does anyone need it?
I guess that I will assume the calibration done in 2009 is sufficient or that sanity breaks out.
CDV 700 will detect K40 in bananas.
ReplyDeleteIt is sensitive enough.
The 715/717/720 are not sensitive enough.
None will detect Alpha.
I thought the CDV-700 probe had an openable window to allow alpha detection.....
ReplyDeleteI have updated the title; it is a 710.
Deletethe window on the geiger tube cover allows the detection of Beta.
