Some People Just Can't Take a Joke

The Harvard graduate fired over a TikTok video in which she threatened to “stab” anyone who told her “All Lives Matter” is now trying to raise cash online.

Claira Janover — who tearfully announced Wednesday that she had been fired amid the furor over her “analogous joke” video — updated her offending TikTok to include her Venmo details for donations.

On Instagram, she linked to a GoFundMe account set up by Harvard pals called “The Claira Janover is Incredible Fund.”

Firing someone because they made a threat to stab people on social media is a very divisive action, don't you think?

  1. That would have been what the Leftists would have said had Nicholas Cruz been dropped by the school resources officer as he lined up his first shot.
He might not have intended to start massacring students. For Leftists, like criminal defense lawyers, there's always that element of doubt.

  2. In an episode of M*A*S*H, when Frank Burns made up a song verse about stabbing Pierce and Hunnicutt, it was funny because it was a tv series, and Frank was crazy anyway. In real life these things aren't funny, just as people talking to each other as they do on TV isn't funny. Not if they're imitating Seinfeld, Raymond, whom everyone loves, Robin Williams, the spaceman, Bob Denver, Dwayne Hickman or George Burns.
