Equatorial Platform

If you do not what an equatorial platform is, it is a way to have a Dobsonian telescope track across the sky.  I bought this one named the Crossbow:
Clever design, beautifully made, looking forward to using it soon.  How do they work?  There is an explanation here.  Still looks like black magic to me.

    When you get it installed and adjusted, could you post a video of how it works? I can't picture how it would work or where.
