When I started searching Florida newspapers from 1893 in Chronicling America for firearms and license there were hundreds of matches. Now there are none. It is almost like their search just broke.
Sadly, Google is not your friend, and they have become (or always were) evil.
There is a war going on, and so far Google is winning it; the battle is for free speech, and whether it will be allowed.
Google doesn't much care for free speech, and especially when it comes to matters such as the 2nd Amendment. They much prefer for us to only be able to reference such things as Google thinks are correct- and they don't like guns.
