It feels like a bunch of skater kids with no fear (ever seen a skateboarder afraid of anything) put together a video of several miles of abandoned subway tunnels in Cincinnati. As they explain, they started building it a century ago, ran out of money, and just gave up.

I love in Cincy now, and I went on a tour of the subway some years ago. Quite an experience.
ReplyDeleteI've seen the entrances from I-75 most of my life and often wonder about the tunnels. Now I know! :-)
ReplyDeleteAt one time it was possible to take a tour in to the subway tunnels, but I can't find it online anymore. There is a website devoted to it and it links to a PBS Documentary about it:
