The Update Manager claims there are hundreds of updates that I should download but the Update Manager fails to install them.
When you Show Terminal Window you get this:
/usr/lib/pymodules/python2.7/UpdateManager/Bchild_watch_add full: assertion 'pid > 0' fa return self._fork_func()
Perhaps I should apt-get update python first.
