As Jim Nabors Used to Say, "Surprise, surprise!"

Six months into a campus carry rule at the University of Kansas that liberals were sure would result in bloody gunfights and grueling body counts, the actual crime statistics are telling an altogether different story.
From 2016 to 2017, crimes reported on campus went not up, but down, according to a Friday university police announcement reported by the Lawrence Journal-World.
According to the KU Office of Public Safety, criminal offenses went down from 770 incidents in 2016 to 671 the following year, an overall decrease of 13 percent.
Interestingly, although there have been 14 weapons violations since 2008, the tally for 2017 was exactly zero.
Everywhere relaxing concealed carry laws have been proposed, the progressives have insisted it will lead to gunfights.   They are never right.  You would think that they would start wondering about their predictive abilities.  If progressives are this bad at prediction, next you will tell me that they are bad at economics, too.

  1. The problem is that many people want to extend good faith to "progressives" and attempt to convince them with facts. The truth is that they are uninterested in facts; progressives are intrinsically evil, if not by what they say or do, then by what they believe. I advance zero good faith to them, and no quarter.

Progressive is the current term du jour instead of "liberal; they get away with it because many if not most citizens are unaware of the fact that communists (such as N. Khrushchev) preferred the term "Progressive" word to describe their murderous totalitarian ideology.

Those who desire to take your rights do not deserve reason or eloquence. They deserve to be told directly and firmly: "No, end of discussion."
