Coloring looks like it might be a Tibetan Mastiff, though it is hard to tell. They usually about 200 pounds, and can be as much as 250. Though he doesn't look shaggy enough.
Could also be a Caucasian Ovcharka (Sometimes known as a Russian Mountain Dog.) They are less shaggy than the Tibetans, and can also have this coloring.
First time I ever saw a malamute it was the biggest wolf dog I had ever seen. Wiki states that males Malamutes have been know to get to 100 lbs.
ReplyDeleteMy lightning is a Mal/Siberian cross (blue eyes tell the tale) that weighs 150 lbs....the Sibe in him should have kept him on the smaller side too...
