Several friends are big fans of this film. It starts with a profoundly sentimental sequence that is hard not to love. Then it turns into
Death Wish but without the redeeming social value of that film. And did I use the word plausible anywhere? I hope not.
Seriously, for an action adventure film, it is powerfully made. But there is no one here (except the beagle) that deserves any sympathy or concern.
