I discovered to my chagrin that many such products now contain a 'bitterant' to deter misuse, and if you hold the can wrong you dispense a sticky fine dust that's really hard to clean off of lenses. (Admittedly, the product descriotion said 'aerosol duster', I was intending dust-off rather than dust-application . . .)
ReplyDeleteI note that the details page for the Uline product says it is without bitterant.
And for some reason I feel compelled to add that most of these aren't 'air' in any normal sense, but some convenient compressible gas such as an R152a refrigerant. I sometimes even use the spray for cooling the 'inner' part in doing repairs to broken press-fit connections.
How do you misuse compressed air?
