10/9/21 Business Insider article describes a guy who kept returning stuff to Amazon, but not the stuff he ordered, stuff much older and with different serial numbers. Then he sold the stuff that Amazon shipped on eBay. $290,000 worth so felony wire fraud.
I would never have thought of this. I would never have it expected it to take five years. I would have expected the first bogus return to have been a refusal to credit him and shutting down his account
