Conservative Server Farms

It appears that the left is now deplatforming sites that violate the ick factor, su8ch as AR15.com.  Is there a need for more server farms?  How much capital is required and what are typical ROIs?  Have any of you done this before?

  1. Hmmm... these days, I think server farms need some specialized skills, and expensive networking and other equipment.

I don't know if ar15.com needs much, though. But Parler does.

BTW, ar15.com was deplatformed by GoDaddy.com, a company in Scottsdale, AZ, and one of the largest domain name sites, which also provides web services and email.

The founder of GoDaddy is a marine and Vietnam vet and not the type to do this. On the other hand, he sold it not too many years ago, and I don't know how much control he now has - he made billions off of it.

  2. During the Civil Rights struggle in the 1950s and 1960s did people say, “If you don’t want to sit in the back of the bus use another transportation service?”
Did anyone say, “Didn’t you read Woolworth’s Terms of Service? If Woolworth’s doesn’t want to serve you at their lunch counter just go somewhere else?”
Build your own lunch counter, create your own bus lines, use your own drinking fountains.

  3. You make a good point. I'd invest in such a service. By invest, I mean buy in and own stock as well as use them for my own blog.

If anyone is lookingat dping this (O don't ahve the knowledge to do so) then I cam invest some (fairly) significant money. If enough of us did so, we'd likely have enough to start...

    1. Does any of you have the experience of setting up such a service?
