Jules Verne's Off On A Comet!
I am reading this novel by Jules Verne that was completely unknown to me, and even though it is a very good novel in his style of "scientific romances," I can see why it is not well known in English. It has some really quite astonishingly crude and clumsy anti-Semitism in it. Even by Victorian standards, I think that this must have been regarded as crude and clumsy. There was a minor revision of it at a later time to make it less blunt, but the two English translations were done from the original text, and never sold well in the English-speaking world.
