Global Replace Has Its Risks

Someone formatted Tolstoy's War and Peace for the Nook e-reader, but along the way, something went wrong.  Every use of the word "kindled" (you know, like what you do to start a fire) in Tolstoy's classic ended up as Nookd.

  1. Rather embarrassing when that happens, but it almost seems like a deliberate mistake so to speak.

    On the other hand, maybe the editor was trying to spice it up by getting a higher amount of Nooky into the classic tome?
