"At one time, Emanuel Fair was the longest-serving inmate in the King County Jail, spending nine years behind bars without being convicted of a crime."
Yes he could not make bail but nine years waiting for trial?
So I looked up Washington State's speedy trial rule. It requires trial in 60 days. Why is progressive Washington doing stuff like this. And yes he was found innocent.

Thanks. Fixed.
DeleteCalifornia has a similar speedy trial rule, and in addition, civil actions have to come to trial within five years of filing the complaint with the court.
