A New Critical Theory

I am reading Academic Questions the journal of the National Association of Scholars (what scholarship was before the academy was taken over by crazies).  In an article about the newly discovered Foreign Language Learning Disability is this discussion of Critical Disability Theory (CDT).  Disability is "best understood as a shift from understanding disability  as something that resides in the individual to viewing disability as something imposed on individuals by society that doesn't accommodate their needs."
