Official State Portrait of California Gov. Jerry Brown


No, seriously.

Only saw this because the CBC had a court artist's rendering of a suspect that wasn't even this well done.  Idiocracy, the documentary.

Well, I'd have to see more of this artist's work before I accuse him of being a hack, but the fact that he said that considering what the other portraits looked like, he wasn't upset that his portrait was not hung with them gives strength to Charles M. Russell's* observation that "an artist is the only thing you can say you is tgat nobody can say you ain't."
