Brandishing a Magazine

Breitbart.com reports that D.C. police are investigating whether:
NBC's David Gregory violated D.C.'s gun banning laws during a recent taping of Meet the Press.
I can't seem to find what the punishment is.

UPDATE: It appears that the penalty is up to a $1000 fine and six months in jail.

    The ban is in § 7-2506.01

    The penalty comes from DC ST § 7-2507.06

    I thought the penalty was 30 lashes with a wet noodle.
