Living longer as the sole goal? So he's treating poor people as if they were Bristlecone pines? The Human Rights of pine trees and cattle. What a F$%^ing elitist!
As for the Coal Miners/Soldiers analogy, Gee, maybe we should examine Politicians. We have politicians but we don't have them make laws just so they have something to do (or do we?). I still think the only budget a Democrat is safe with is the one the School Administration gives them for the annual school picnic.
