Not the sort of gully-washer that makes driving scary, but rain, nevertheless. I suddenly remembered a Twilight Zone set somewhere in the Mojave Desert at a general store, gas station, boarding house with four residents.  It has not rained in 40 years. A stranger shows up and the heavens open.  There is no science fiction, nothing supernatural, just the psychological drama that Serling could do so well.
