The Corvette and Jaguar Need Good Homes

2000 Corvette, 110K miles, heads-up display, performance axle ratio, glass roof, 12 disc cd changer, mechanically in perfect condition (new battery last year, rear differential seals and the $2000 ABS computer replaced in the last two years), could use a wax job and interior cleaning.



Kelly Blue Book for private part sale is $9398 in its condition, but $9000 would take it.

The Corvette sold for $8500 in crisp $100 bills.

The 2007 Jaguar X-type 3.0L V6 has 71,000 miles, mechanically perfect, new brake pads and rotors last year, studded snow tires and some all-season tires as well.  AWD, CD player, sunroof, ABS, 4 wheel disc brakes, a real joy to drive.  A few minor paint imperfections, and the exterior needs a bath.



Kelly Blue Book for private part sale is $6700 in its condition.  Might take a bit less, but much cheaper and it's worth keeping for a spare car.

UPDATE: Did I underprice the Corvette?  I listed it on Craig's List, and I have buyers offering me $8000 sight unseen, and others who want to see.

I have one offer at $8300, and more people who want to see it..

    Craig's List is rife with scam artists, not just perverts and hookers. Beware of anyone who wants to arrange a sale sight unseen or offers to pay with a cashier's check or money order.

    Google "Craig's List scams" to inform yourself.

    A police detective I bought a motorcycle from several years ago advised taking only cash, even if that's inconvenient. Cashiers checks and money orders are easily faked these days.
