Bill of Rights Day

Today, December 15, marks the anniversary of the ratification of the Bill of Rights.  The Cato Institute is running newspaper ads reminding us of why the Bill of Rights matters--especially against the regular encroachment efforts of the government.  I am quite pleased with the ads--keeping to the mainstream of these violations, rather than going out on the libertarian utopia vision extremes.  The web site dedicated to this is here.

  1. It's sad that Cato finds it rather easy to find "mainstream violations" rather than having to go to libertarian Utopian extremes to find violations of the Bill of Rights.
