What is it About Machinists?

Fifteen years ago, is you had asked me about machinist stereotypes, it would have been gruff and that is about it.  You may be aware that I am a big fan of This Old Tony who does some very informative and funny machining videos.  I have also just run into Blondihacks, an older blonde machinist who if not quite as hysterical as This Old Tony, certainly turns informative machining videos into a source of amusement.
