Not in the least unexpected. People just state and watch as evil goes by. In my own life as I live it this monkey would be disarmed, have received a black eye at best and dragged out by the scruff and warned "there's worse if you come back" but no. This is CA and monkeys can play wherever they want without fear of confrontation. Apparently no hard men in that store at the time.
