The jury dropped its bombshell Tuesday, filing an official declaration in Superior Court accusing Smith of seven corruption-related acts. Six involve ongoing criminal indictments alleging Smith engaged in political favoritism and traded favors by leveraging her control over issuing concealed-carry weapons permits.
I was shocked by that story, because nowhere in it was it mentioned that Smith is a Republican.
