From what little surgery I have had to experience in my 67 years, I wish you good luck. Five years ago yesterday I had a hernia operation, and for about a week it felt like I had an electric cattle prod in my pants. I can only imagine what cutting my sternum would feel like after, and I am sure that my imagination falls far short of reality.
