Not Every Change is Truly Innovation
I am not talking politics here! I recently downloaded Mint Cinnamon Linux 19.3 and Ubuntu 9 and installed them in my VM. The Cinnamon GUI was profoundly disappointing. If you have to search to find out how to change screen resolution, you have failed. Even with instructions Ubuntu 9 is impossible to figure out.

I use Cinnamon (version 4.4.8) on Fedora (version 31) as a VMWare Player guest on a Windows 10 host.
ReplyDeleteOn the taskbar menu, Preferences -> Display brings up a window including screen resolution choices.
I'd be surprised if it were a lot different in Cinnamon Mint. (I haven't used that for a number of years.) But I'm surprised all the time.
I did find by googling, but it really should be more obvious.
