An Awesome Debugger for Linux
Mostly because Eclipse Oxygen will not work on the antique that I use for my mill, I am still using the standard development tools for writing C programs: emacs, gcc, and a really cool debugger called Data Display Debugger. If, for whatever reason, you can't used an IDE for such work, I recommend DDD.

emacs is (or at least was) the BOMB. Don't wanna code LISP without it.
