In an article about the Mormon Church's recent pronouncement about gay membership and same-sex marriage in the Nov. 15, 2015 Christian Science Monitor.  Hundreds of Mormons left the Mormon Church over its anti-gay policies.  Why were they still there?  It would be like Catholic priests resigning in protest against celibacy rules:
“This is about compassion and supporting our community,” said Brooke Swallow, one of the organizers of the protest in a city park, to Reuters. “No longer are we going to keep our mouths shut.”
