Right to Open Carry in Ohio

Northrup v. CITY OF TOLEDO POLICE DIVISION, (N.D.Ohio 2014)
This was a sec. 1983 suit against Toledo Police for arresting a man for open carry.  Surprise: you can't arrest someone for something protected by the Second Amendment and the Ohio Constitution.  Well you can, but you will lose when you get sued for doing so.

Here is the 6th Circuit upholding this decision:  Northrup v. CITY OF TOLEDO POLICE DIVISION, (6th Cir.2015).  Significantly, they did not address the Second Amendment or Ohio Const. provisions merely observing that open carry is lawful in Ohio.
