It took some fiddling but the stepper motor is now at a speed that will turn the worm gear at 1 revolution per day. I am almost done with the bracket to attach the stepper motor and gears to the polar axis. Here I am slotting a place for the polar axis housing.
Yes, I need to rotate this video. But I am doing this from phone in bed.
The slot is deeper than wide because I need some room to adjust in at least two directions for slight variations in positioning of the gear.
