6/6/18 Indiewire interviewing Jodie Foster about gun control:

“I had a lot of thoughts in terms of the power of the instrument and why it’s so problematic that human beings should have an instrument of death at their fingertips so freely when we are emotional human beings,” Foster said. “I mean, I’d be much more comfortable having robots have them, but we are designed to have emotions that overflow and that are not guided by our heads … To have sentient beings that are completely and entirely guided by their emotions have the power to administer life or death using one kilowatt of energy in a nanosecond is just unfathomable with me.”

News for you, Ms. Foster.  Real people are not like Weinstein and the rest of Hollyweird.

Corey Feldman Turned Over Too Scary of a Rock, Gets Stabbed

03/28/18 Fox News:

The stabbing comes six weeks after Feldman was cleared in an LAPD sexual battery investigation from an alleged incident last year.

Feldman has publicly stated he was molested by powerful people in the entertainment industry when he was an '80s child star. He has said his close friend - the late Corey Haim - was raped when he was a child by the same industry predators.

Feldman said on "Dr. Oz" in November that Jon Grissom was one of his alleged abusers. He also told Megyn Kelly that convicted sex offender Marty Weiss harmed him as well. However, the LAPD dropped an investigation into his claims later that month.

Three men distracted his security guards, and a fourth stabbed him.  A single attacker might be a stalker, but this was planned.  The fact is that monsters seem heavily present in Hollywood should be no surprise.  It is an industry that makes its money selling how sexy its "meat" is.  Why are we surprised that they see the "meat" as appropriate targets for their confused and out of control sexuality?

3/19/18 USA Today:

Led by attorney Lisa Bloom at a press conference in Los Angeles Monday, two women who had previously accused Steven Seagal of rape and sexual assault told their stories about the actor's alleged misconduct.

Originally revealed in a January report by The Wrap, actress Regina Simons said she was 18 and an extra on Seagal’s 1994 film On Deadly Ground when he allegedly raped her, while former model Faviola Dadis said she filed a police report about Seagal in the last month, saying he groped her during an audition in 2002.

During the press conference, Simons said that Seagal raped her after inviting her to his house, claiming he was throwing a wrap party. She said that he was twice her age at the time, and she had not had a sexual encounter with a man before that experience.

I remember watching On Deadly Ground and finding its environmentalism more than a bit preachy.
