Names Not to Say

1/29/19 AP:
“It wasn’t about MGM, Mandalay Bay or a specific casino or venue,” said Aaron Rouse, the special agent in charge of the FBI’s Las Vegas office. “It was all about doing the maximum amount of damage and him obtaining some form of infamy.”...
Las Vegas police closed their investigation last August, and Clark County Sheriff Joe Lombardo declared the police work ended after hundreds of interviews and thousands of hours of investigative work. Lombardo vowed to never again speak [monster's name redacted]’s name in public.
Another hierostratic mass murder.  Stop publishing their names!

  1. Sadly the tin foil hat crowd doesn't believe that crazy people just do crazy things. They're crazy, not stupid. Which means that they can plan an insane crime and carry it out.

No, that won't satisfy the "There must be a reason." crowd.

It has to be a "false flag" operation to further gun control.

It's a plot by the DHS to further their anti gun agenda.

It's the NRAs fault. (Isn't everything?"

    It's Trumps fault. (Isn't everything?"

Sometimes crazy people just do crazy and evil things.

  2. Clayton, they didn't publish the murderer's name or names.

They published the patsy's name; and the FBI now pronounces the case closed though none of the findings make any sense, lacking as they do motive and method.

Not one picture of any weapons fitted with the bump stocks that supposedly, unlike in real life, functioned flawlessly with some 1100 rounds fired; but the FBI told us they found them there, so of course we believe it. Even more incredibly, there wasn't any mountain of fired brass shown in any pictures; did the patsy swallow them as he shot them off? Why not, that's no more fantastic than any of the rest of this fairytale.

There is of course no mention of the 4 floors above that patsy's room, owned and occupied by Saudi royalty; that's not part of the narrative, so shhhhh. No more interviews with the one guy who appeared on Ellen Degeneres' show looking frightened to death; no, he's gone away, never to be seen again, and no "reporter" wants to talk to him. Ho hum, move on, nothing to see here! There are more holes in this story than a block of Swiss cheese, and whatever the truth is we haven't heard it yet.

The FBI isn't covering themselves with glory here, and the Mafia seems more honest!

  3. Is the FBI's full report available, not just the summary about the motives?

  4. Mauser: No idea. Find out and report back, if you aren't framed by them for aggravated mopery.
