George Washington University has sparked outrage for offering a seminar on 'Christian privilege'.
The 90-minute seminar, titled 'Christian Privilege: But Our Founding Fathers Were All Christian, Right?!', is scheduled for Thursday evening at the Washington, DC school.
Timothy Kane, interim associate director for inclusion initiatives, is hosting the event, which will explore how 'Christians in the USA experience life in an easier way' and 'have built-in advantages' over non-Christians. ...
'How do we celebrate Christian identities and acknowledge that Christians receive unmerited perks from institutions and systems all across our country?
'Let’s reflect upon ways we can live up to our personal and national values that make room for all religious and secular identities on an equal playing field,' the event's description reads.
By the end of the session, participants will be able to 'describe white privilege' and 'list at least three examples of Christian privilege'.
Participants will able be able to 'list at least three ways to be an ally with a non-Christian person'.But they neglected to mention our control of the banks, media, and universities. A very depressing article from one of the Canadian papers about the failure of the now progressive, feminist government to take action to prevent or punish FGM. The article does correctly identify that this is not specifically an Islamic practice, but I suspect the desire not to offend Muslims, an important part of the progressive coalition, or appear insufficiently multicultural, is probably the reason.

Bald men in Mozambique could be targets of ritual attacks, police have warned, after the recent killing of five men for their body parts.
Two suspects have been arrested in the central district of Milange, where the killings occurred.
"The belief is that the head of a bald man contains gold," said Afonso Dias, a police commander in Mozambique's central Zambezia province.
Albino people have also been killed in the region for ritual purposes.
