Another TDS Symptom Can Go Away

10/29/25 CNN:

President Donald Trump has said it is “pretty clear” the US Constitution does not permit him to run for the third term in office, after days of speculation prompted by claims from allies there was a plan to let him do just that.

“I have my highest poll numbers that I’ve ever had,” he told reporters on board Air Force One as he flew to South Korea where he is attending a regional summit as part of a whirlwind tour of Asia.

I think the only reason anyone would even slightly mutter such an idea was to cause more brain injury to the left.  I saw an apt analogy recently: the left is a cat; Trump is holding a laser pointer.

Gavin Newsom Agrees That Trans Women Do Not Belong in Women's Sports

3/6/25 New York Times article about how Gavin Newsome is now saying it us unfair for transwomen to compete in women's sports.  This is transparently Newsome preparing for his 2028 presidential run.  Reading the comments is as usual interesting.   Some are Democrats who recognize that Newsome is just cynically preparing the battles pace.  Some agreed with the sentiment,  even if considering it such.  Some thought the Party went off the deep end and welcomed sanity.  A few were just screeching that this was the first step towards executing all LGBs.  Others insisted that a more nuanced approach was needed; separate leagues for transathletes all 10 of them.   

There is still a lot of crazy in the Party.
