I noticed this blog post accidentally as I was scrolling down to your blogroll and your caption intrigued me. It also reminded me of what Charles Russell, who in his younger days as an impoverished cowboy artist was an epic drinker and carouser. He said that Alcohol gets blamed for a lot of stuff it doesn't do, saying that it sort of boils up to the surface whatever is inside the person. His example was that if he likes a person, when he is drunk he can hardly avoid kissing him, and if he dislikes the person he doesn't want to be in the same county with him, which indicates what sort of drunk he was.
