Wonderfully Useful Video on YouTube

I have been watching a wonderfully informative video from MIT about basic machining.   They are demonstrating using a Bridgeport knee mill (the kind you use a forklift to move), and many aspects of the Bridgeport mill are absent on a Sherline, especially the gravitationally induced warping of space and time.   If I ever won the Powerball, a Bridgeport or similar is on my toy list, mostly because of the space and power requirements.

My Sherline came with collets.  I knew they were used to hold center drills, reamers,  and similar tools, but I could not figure how they were held to the mill or how they held the tools.   Now I understand.

UPDATE: The second part covers workholding.  I wish that I had known about angle blocks several weeks ago.
