Refugees: Nothing to Worry About

BOISE — A Boise man convicted of aiding a terrorist group was sentenced Thursday to 25 years in federal prison.

Fazliddin Kurbanov, 33, amassed explosive materials in his Curtis Road apartment and communicated online with members of the Islamic Movement of Uzbekistan about how best to carry out a bomb attack against the "infidels" in America.

Kurbanov, who came to the United States as a refugee in 2009, was convicted in August of conspiracy to provide material support to a terrorist organization, attempting to provide material support to a terrorist organization and possession of an unregistered destructive device. He was acquitted of two additional charges.

    In short- Houston and Sacramento are added to the San Bernardino pair, Fort Hood, Chattanooga, 9/11 and even the guy caught at the US Canadian border with a car loaded with explosives for an attack on LAX. One of these days we are going to see them at company strength within the country.
