These instructions fail when trying to install samba3-client with yum. Suggestions? Looks like samba3-client is now samba4-client.
Nor do any other instructions I have found work. This used to be pretty easy. Did Microsoft pay people to make this haqrd to discourage Linux?
Try running "yum provides */mount.cifs". That should tell you what packages in the repository has the client you need.

In Fedora 22, the mount.cifs program is provided by the 'cifs-utils' package.
