A few months back, I discovered that VMWare Player would not run under 32-bit Windows 7. Since I now have a 64-bit quad notebook, I am trying again. There are just too many things that Linux does that I need. Our pastor forgot to hit finalize on the CD burner at church, so only very primitive CD players could play the disc (no TOC). But under Linux, you can cdrecord -fix to write the TOC. (Which of course I did on my antique Compaq NC6000 running Linux 12.04.)
And besides, Linux is more nerdly.
UPDATE: CentOS 7 won't start a GUI. I am using CentOS 6.6 for now to blog.
Amen to the nerdly-ness.
