A sporting clays facility wants to open nearby, which is fine, but does shotgun tracer ammo represent a fire hazard. California allows shotgun tracers, but no other tracers, so I am guessing shotgun tracers are not real dangerous.
Shotgun pellets and slugs move so slowly that tracer rounds are typically just brightly painted pellets or cyalume (the material used in chemical light sticks), not the burning material such as magnesium used for rifle rounds.
The Fiocci tracers are Chemiluminscent, instead of pyrotechnic.
