For those who think ISIS is a problem far, far away, it isn't.Five people have been seen running from a cafe at the centre of a siege involving an unknown number of hostages in the heart of Sydney's CBD.An armed man entered the Lindt cafe in Martin Place before 10:00am (AEDT) and has held staff and customers hostage all day.
New South Wales Deputy Police Commissioner Catherine Burn said police were negotiating with the man.
Hostages were seen pressing a black flag displaying Arabic text against the cafe window soon after police were called to the busy pedestrian thoroughfare.
The text on the flag said: "There is no God but Allah and Muhammad is the messenger of God."

The dead Muslim Sheikh was a member of a terrorist organization, the murder cult called Islam. I think eventually, after thousands more slaughtered innocents, some countries will come to their senses and realize that Muslims b belong in Muslim lands, not USA, Australia, UK, etc. the solution is to expel all Muslims, as Spain did in 1492.
ReplyDeleteImmediately the Aussies are all concerned about a "backlash" against Muslims. There OUGHT to be. Islam ought to be tolerated about like the KKK, only of course, the KKK was MUCH better on women's rights.
