Paranoid Survivalists At Treasury Dept.

The Free Beacon links to this solicitation from the Treasury Department for emergency survival kits for their employees that go out to audit banks.  And I thought survivalism was a fringe movement of people who don't trust the federal government and banks.

  1. "Survivalism", so-called, is a bit different from "a day's worth of food and water and a poncho and first aid kid", which is what that boils down to.

    This reads much more like "so your carpool sedan got caught in a storm" than "survivalism".

    Not even Progressives call people paranoid for having a storm kit...
