Police tell the BBC that 35-year-old suspect Jihad Al-Shamie was on police bail for an alleged rape when he carried out a car ramming and stabbing attack at a Manchester synagogue on Thursday.

Some things do not mix well. Alcohol and power tools. Teenaged boys, tequila and automobiles. It increasingly seems to be Muslims and post-medieval cultures.

FBI Doing Its Actual Job

6/24/25 Los Angeles Times:

"When Ammaad Akhtar, 33, of Stockton, got in touch with someone he thought was a member of the Islamic State in February 2025, he expressed his support for the terrorist organization.

"He was actually messaging with an undercover federal agent, according to a statement from the U.S. Attorney’s Office, Eastern District of California....

"While he was under investigation, Akhtar sent money to the agent on several occasions, prosecutors said. When told by the agent that the money had procured guns for the Islamic State, Akhtar allegedly replied: “may Allah destroy our enemies.”

Akhtar also spoke about planning an attack himself, saying he “want[s] to die in the cause of Allah fighting the kuffar [infidels],” the U.S. Attorney’s Office said."

Why Are Democrats So Intent on Stopping Deportations?

6/1/25 FoxNews:

"An Egyptian national who came into the country two years ago and overstayed his visa has been charged in the gruesome terror attack that left six people injured in Boulder, Colorado, Saturday, authorities said.

Mohamed Sabry Soliman, 45, was arrested at the scene, after he allegedly set his victims on fire as they peacefully rallied on behalf of Israeli hostages still being held by Hamas in Gaza. Soliman was heard yelling "Free Palestine" and other anti-Israel slogans during the attack on victims ranging in age from 67 to 88.

"The shocking violence unfolded at 1:26 p.m. local time, when Boulder police were called to the county courthouse on Pearl Street for reports of a man who had a weapon and was setting people on fire, according to Boulder Police Chief Steve Redfearn."

I will be curious to watch how Democrats defend why this guy was not deported years ago.

It is beginning to feel like the mass deportations that Democrats fear need to happen pronto.

How Did I Miss This?

I can see coincidence but I can also see how even a rational person might scratch their chin and go, "Hmmmm."  4/27/13 Daily Mail:

"An uncle of the Boston bombers was previously married to a CIA officer's daughter for three years, it emerged today."

Since we now know that CIA has some highly partisan employees, it would not be implausible that they might have been set up to do this.  But not revealed at trial?  The radicalized Muslim explanation and wild coincidence still fits the evidence better.

The FBI has identified the hostage-taker in Saturday’s standoff at Colleyville synagogue as Malik Faisal Akram, a 44-year-old British citizen. “The FBI’s Evidence Response Team (ERT) will continue processing evidence at the synagogue,” the FBI said in a news release. “At this time, there is no indication that other individuals are involved. The FBI’s North Texas Joint Terrorism Task Force (NTJTTF), which includes member agencies from across the region, will continue to follow investigative leads. An FBI Shooting Incident Review Team (SIRT) will conduct a thorough, factual, and objective investigation of the events.”
