The Highest Levels of Wit Today Can Be Found on Some Blog Comments

At an Instapundit post about Mattel whining that toys will get pricier because they cannot make toys in America (why?  How much actual labor goes into most toys?) caused a satirical comment about children not needing toys when there were household chores to be done and vial to mine.

Responses included that all he had as a child was a pet rock, cardboard,  and D cells.

Response:  "Wait, you had rocks.  We were still waiting for the lava to cool."
