It Is Nice to See Signs of Normal

My grandchildren attend a charter school with an impressive music program: concert band, orchestra,  choir, and jazz band.  I went to the event last night.  It was so startling to see many kids well groomed.  If any of then are tattooed or have piercings, they are at least not so visible as to see them when dressed formally. 

For all that is wrong in America,  there are still pockets of sanity.
