Today's Learning Experience

I now have a stepper motor with a four pin plug A+, A-, B+, B-.
And a controller with six pins DC+, DC-, PUL, DIR, EN, GND.
From reading the manual and doing some guessing Ibelieve that the four pin plug to the stepper motor goes on the pins not labeled DC+ and DC-.  Some little 2 plug probably goes on the DC pins, powering the controller and through it, the stepper motor.  Wait a minute,  the controller comes with a six conductor cable that goes onto the pins without using a hammer.

Does anyone know for sure? Do I just feed power into the two cables reserved for DC?  The stated range is 5-30VDC.  I am guessing this is passed through to the stepper motor.
