I have many memories of Southern California on fire. In the 1960s, we had several major fires going at once; in my senior year of high school, the fires were readily visible from downtown Santa Monica. Our yearbook had a spectacular pictures of flames visible from one of our firehouses on the cover. Back then,California was still run by adults who thought public safety mattered more than DEI.
I keep hoping that reality intruding (our multimilionaire dollar homes have burned down) will get the attention of Blue voters, but I doubt it.
