The Supposed Chinese AI Breakthrough Causing Market Upset for Tech Companies, Especially Nvidia

If you were outside the U.S. and made an announcement that could not be independently verified about a technological breakthrough that would devastate Nvidia's stock price, would you engage in short selling?  This is technically unlawful, but imagine the insane laughter if we submitted an extradition request to the PRC.

As some have observed,  this new AI breakthrough gathers a lot of information about its users.  TikTok was a quirk, right?
