Moment of Inertia

 I need to figure deflection for a square 24" WxL.  The load is distributed but I suspect calculating deflection as though it was a single 24" x 1" beam would be adequately close.

delta = PL^3/48EI

E = 70 gigapascals

L = .6 m

P = 13 newtons

How do I calculate I for either a 24" x 24" or 24" x 1"?

This chart of floor plate deflection indicates that a 24" x 26" x 1/4" plat would have a maximum deflection of .32" and I suspect that is a point load, not a distributed load.
